Â鶹ӰԺ's annual Veterans Day Commemoration ceremonies begin at 11 a.m., Nov. 9 on the Student Green.
Â鶹ӰԺ State ROTC students had a special early morning pick up on campus for their weekend exercises.
Several dozen Â鶹ӰԺ State students started their weekend early Friday morning by loading a CH-47 Chinook helicopter that landed briefly on the Â鶹ӰԺ Campus to take them to a field exercise with the Army ROTC.
The Â鶹ӰԺ State community paused from classes and work Nov. 10 to gather on the Student Green at Risman Plaza and show their respect as part of Veterans Day.
Â鶹ӰԺ State alumna 1st Lt. Ashley White-Stump is featured along with other American heroes in the new National Museum of the United States Army, which just recently opened in Virginia.
