�鶹ӰԺ is one of the best colleges in the nation to work for, according to a recent survey. For the 11th time, �鶹ӰԺ State has been named a “Great College to Work For,” which recognizes the colleges that get top ratings from their employees regarding workplace practices and policies.

�鶹ӰԺ has again been recognized as one of America’s Best-in-State Employers for 2022 by Forbes and market research company Statista. In Ohio, �鶹ӰԺ State ranks No. 3 among the top 100 employers in Ohio, landing above such notable employers as Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati, University Hospitals and Cleveland Clinic, both located in Cleveland.

For the 10th time, �鶹ӰԺ is being recognized as a “Great College to Work For,” according to the latest survey by the Great Colleges to Work For program. The program recognizes the colleges that get top ratings from their employees regarding workplace practices and policies. 

The �鶹ӰԺ Board of Trustees has approved a new three-year Collective Bargaining Agreement between the university and the �鶹ӰԺ Employees Local 153, American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME).

Forbes and market research company Statista have named �鶹ӰԺ No. 1 among employers in Northern Ohio and No. 4 in the entire state of Ohio on the 2020 America’s Best-in-State Employers list that highlights America’s best employers. �鶹ӰԺ State is also the top educational institution on the Ohio list. �鶹ӰԺ is being recognized for the ninth time as a “Great College to Work For” by The Chronicle of Higher Education, a top trade publication for colleges and universities, and ModernThink LLC, a consulting firm. Now in its 13th year, the “Great Colleges to Work For” annual report recognizes the colleges that get top ratings from their employees on workforce practices and policies.

On the heels of being honored by the for its highest workplace wellness award, the Healthy Business Council of Ohio (HBCO) has awarded �鶹ӰԺ the 2019 Healthy Worksite Gold Level Award for its healthy worksite practices.

�鶹ӰԺ held its annual Veterans Day Commemoration on Thursday, Nov. 7, in the �鶹ӰԺ Student Center Kiva. This year’s guest speaker was Lt. Col. Colleen VanNatta. A graduate of �鶹ӰԺ State’s Air Force ROTC detachment, VanNatta served as a media escort for joint information bureaus in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, during Operation Desert Storm.
