On Feb. 26, Â鶹ӰԺ notified the Â鶹ӰԺ Campus community about an unverified threat at Â鶹ӰԺ Hall that was deemed to be not credible. Â鶹ӰԺ State is not alone. Schools and institutions across the country have been receiving false threats.

Â鶹ӰԺ State Police Department Maintains National Law Enforcement Accreditation

The Â鶹ӰԺ Police Department was recently awarded national accreditation for the ninth time by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies Inc. in the Law Enforcement program. The Â鶹ӰԺ State Police Department was first accredited in 1991.

Public Hearing for Â鶹ӰԺ State Police Department’s Reaccreditation to Be Held July 27

The Â鶹ӰԺ Police Department is scheduled for a virtual assessment as part of a program to achieve international reaccreditation. Administered by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies Inc. (CALEA), the program requires agencies to meet state-of-the-art standards in four basic areas: policy and procedures, administration, operations and support services.
