Statewide Tornado Drill to Be Conducted Wednesday, March 19

Ohio is conducting a statewide tornado drill on Wednesday, March 19, at 9:50 a.m. All Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº campuses will be participating in this test.

Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº State Police Department Maintains National Law Enforcement Accreditation

The Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº Police Department was recently awarded national accreditation for the ninth time by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies Inc. in the Law Enforcement program. The Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº State Police Department was first accredited in 1991.

Public Hearing for Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº State Police Department’s Reaccreditation to Be Held July 27

The Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº Police Department is scheduled for a virtual assessment as part of a program to achieve international reaccreditation. Administered by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies Inc. (CALEA), the program requires agencies to meet state-of-the-art standards in four basic areas: policy and procedures, administration, operations and support services.

To help people survive from sudden cardiac arrest, the city of Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº has partnered with Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº and University Hospitals Portage Medical Center to offer PulsePoint Respond.
