The fourth annual Rainbow Weekend in downtown Â鶹ӰԺ Oct. 11-13 and all of its fun activities, events and new Drag Race 5K  come from a fabulous partnership between Â鶹ӰԺ's LGBTQ+ Center and Main Street Â鶹ӰԺ. 

Â鶹ӰԺ's LGBTQ+ Center is celebrating Pride Month by boosting activities statewide, collaborating with local events, hosting a walking group and planning for a fabulous Fall Semester. 

Where will you be viewing the total solar eclipse, Golden Flashes?  Â鶹ӰԺ State has a complete schedule of eclipse-themed events and activities. 

After the eclipse, Flashes can do their part to promote sustainability  by recycling their eclipse glasses for use by viewers of future eclipses around the world. 

On Friday, Oct. 27 Flash the Mascot made new friends at Main Street Â鶹ӰԺ's Family Friendly Halloween event. 

Signs of the Halloween season can be found lurking all around campus. 

Downtown Â鶹ӰԺ is colored with pride, recognizing National Coming Out Day on Oct. 11 and preparing for Â鶹ӰԺ's Rainbow Weekend, Oct. 13-14. 

Students coming to Â鶹ӰԺ State and, for some of them, living away from home for the first time can struggle with the transition. The transition can even be more difficult for LGBTQ+ students, particularly for those who have recently "come out." Ken Ditlevson, director of Â鶹ӰԺ State's LGBTQ+ Center, talks about the many resources available at Â鶹ӰԺ to support them.

Â鶹ӰԺ State and the city of Â鶹ӰԺ encourage people to attend any of the LGBTQ+ events on campus and downtown this week.
