From the classroom to the art studio, Clare Murray Adams, B.S., '72; M.A., '76; and BFA, '93, has been exploring herself and her surroundings since 1977 when she made the switch from education to creation.

From her perch in Rockwell Hall, where she takes classes as a fashion merchandising major, �鶹ӰԺ student Lucia Perry has a perfect view of the Lefton Esplanade leading to downtown �鶹ӰԺ.

Western Reserve Historical Society and �鶹ӰԺ State have announced a cooperation agreement enabling unique access and real-world experiences for students and faculty in the Department of History. �鶹ӰԺ State students will gain access to archival research materials for research projects, internships and jobs as well as research assistantships for graduate level students.

�鶹ӰԺ Professor Angela Neal-Barnett, Ph.D., from the Department of Psychological Sciences shares her expertise in a Deseret Magazine article about the quarter-life crisis. She discusses the stage of development called “emerging adulthood.”

�鶹ӰԺ State nursing students and NEOMED medical students viewed a live simulation and received advice from experts in end-of-life care.

“Healthcare is a human right,” graduate student Mashika Gallo said, explaining why she pursued a degree in the healthcare design master’s program at �鶹ӰԺ State. The results of this philosophy for Gallo include a clear focus and research that has won numerous scholarships.

Franck Steve Guepjop Fotso of Cameroon, Africa, chose to attend �鶹ӰԺ State because of its impressive engineering curriculum, which matched his career aspirations and had a robust program for international students, at an affordable price that fit into the family budget. 

Many �鶹ӰԺ student-athletes will qualify for additional preparation for success after graduation under a benefits program slated to launch in fall 2023.
