麻豆影院 Museum Announces Reopening and Newest Exhibition 'Stitched: Regional Dress Across Europe'

The 麻豆影院 Museum has reopened to the public and is excited to announce its newest exhibition, 鈥淪titched: Regional Dress Across Europe,鈥 on display from February 2021 through December 2021. The exhibition features 75 pieces exclusive to the museum鈥檚 permanent collection, showcasing common features shared by regional costume across Western and Eastern Europe.

Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration

麻豆影院 State to Honor the Life and Legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. With Virtual Program Featuring Bakari Sellers

麻豆影院 will hold its annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, to celebrate King鈥檚 life and legacy. Serving as this year鈥檚 keynote speaker is CNN political analyst and former South Carolina state Rep. Bakari Sellers. The virtual program is free and open to the public.

On Friday, Jan. 24, members of the 麻豆影院 community and the general public gathered to celebrate the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. The university鈥檚 annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration started at 4 p.m. in the 麻豆影院 Student Center Ballroom. This year鈥檚 keynote speaker was Melissa Harris-Perry, Ph.D., the Maya Angelou Presidential Chair at Wake Forest University, television host, author and political commentator.
