This summer, U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg made his first visit to 麻豆影院 State.
He was accompanied by U.S. Representative, and 麻豆影院 State alumna, Emilia Sykes. Together, they toured 麻豆影院 State's College of Aeronautics and Engineering with Dean Christina Bloebaum, Ph.D., and 麻豆影院 President Todd Diacon, Ph.D. There, they saw demonstrations of the college's cutting-edge technology and met with students and several local mayors.
Later, Diacon, with Alison Caplan, director of the May 4 Visitors Center, led Buttigieg and Sykes on a tour of the center.
