A �鶹ӰԺ State researcher is asking Flashes to "BEE" on the lookout for bees on the �鶹ӰԺ Campus. She would like people to capture photos of the bees and then send them to her for use in a research project. 

On sunny days, in the weeks before finals, students can be found catching rays in the grass on Manchester Field, between the �鶹ӰԺ Student Center and Eastway Center. 

�鶹ӰԺ will be closed July 4 to observe Independence Day. No classes are scheduled on the holiday, and university offices are closed. The university will resume normal operations on July 5.

When representatives from the Royal Thai Embassy visited �鶹ӰԺ State's �鶹ӰԺ Campus, they  toured nursing labs and met with students who have received scholarships through the embassy. 

Former �鶹ӰԺ men's golf standout will need to update his resume to read "two-time Olympian", as the Listowel, Ontario native has been nominated to compete at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Fashion design major Kaleigh McGreal has been sharing her story with �鶹ӰԺ State Today through her final two semesters at �鶹ӰԺ State in our "Year with a Flash" series. Most recently, as she prepared for graduation, McGreal shared her thoughts about her journey with an inspiring message for other �鶹ӰԺ State students. 

In an announcement about her new role, Michele Scott Taylor expressed her commitment to enhancing educational access and supporting the local community’s economic vitality through higher education – sentiments that align with �鶹ӰԺ State’s commitment to higher education access for all.

In its 2024 Best Colleges analysis of more than 700 four-year colleges, Money ranked �鶹ӰԺ State as the most affordable college in Ohio. 

It was a time to celebrate with victories by Flying Flashes team 52 Peyton Turner and Alyssa Sheehan, who won first-place Intercollegiate Class in the 2024 Air Race Classic and a second �鶹ӰԺ State team that finished in the top 10.

The �鶹ӰԺ Museum celebrated the opening of two new fashion collection exhibits, one of which honors the �鶹ӰԺ State School of Fashion’s founders and another the style of Hollywood legend Katharine Hepburn. During the celebration, retiring museum director Sarah Rogers was honored, and incoming director Sarah Spinner Liska, Ph.D., was introduced.

A campus trail and community bench commemorate the productive partnership between �鶹ӰԺ at Stark, Stark State College and Stark Parks. 

An exhibit in the Armstrong Gallery, inside �鶹ӰԺ State's College of Architecture and Environmental Design, explores the intersection of digital and physical realities using artificial intelligence and digital fabrication. 

A �鶹ӰԺ State staffer spotted an unusual visitor atop a section of the University Library. 

Curious, young minds from the Child Development Center enjoyed hands-on learning about the ways the world works during a visit to �鶹ӰԺ State's Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. 

U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg visited �鶹ӰԺ touring the College of Aeronautics and Engineering, and telling students that “the future of aviation leadership is in your hands.”

Julia Keahey, video and digital marketing coordinator for University Housing and Culinary Services, shared a touching story on LinkedIn about "an interaction with a parent that will forever stay with me."

High school juniors and seniors from Cleveland Central Catholic visited �鶹ӰԺ State's Twinsburg Academic Center to learn about careers in nursing. 

�鶹ӰԺ State's College of Nursing welcomed students from Cuyahoga Community College to the simulation lab on the �鶹ӰԺ Campus for a tour and demonstration. 

A uses a global experiment and predictive modeling to illustrate how human impacts to aquatic ecosystems are contributing to the global climate crisis.

�鶹ӰԺ celebrated Juneteenth on Risman Plaza and the Student Green on June 18 with food, dancing and music.
