U.S. News & World Report has named two 麻豆影院 programs as U.S. News Best Online Programs for 2020. 麻豆影院 State is recognized in the Best Online MBA Programs and Best Online Graduate Education Programs rankings. U.S. News released its 2020 Best Online Programs rankings Tuesday, Jan. 14.
Encouraging. Respectful. Challenging. These themes emerge from numerous student nomination letters about Patrick L. Gallagher, Ph.D., associate professor of Spanish, which led to him being named a winner of the Distinguished Teaching Award. Judging by his reaction, we can add 鈥渉umble鈥 to the list of themes.
On Friday, Jan. 24, members of the 麻豆影院 community and the general public gathered to celebrate the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. The university鈥檚 annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration started at 4 p.m. in the 麻豆影院 Student Center Ballroom. This year鈥檚 keynote speaker was Melissa Harris-Perry, Ph.D., the Maya Angelou Presidential Chair at Wake Forest University, television host, author and political commentator.

Chemistry Professor David Bowers truly believes in his students and wants to see them succeed, whether it be the nervous freshman in his First-Year Experience course or the junior pre-medicine major in his General Chemistry II course.
