Educators, scientists and technologists from the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, �鶹ӰԺ and Cleveland Metroparks have partnered to develop a new learning app to educate park visitors as they run, hike and bike through the parks. 

�鶹ӰԺ has been named a 2016 Gold Level Recipient of the American Heart Association’s Fit-Friendly Worksites recognition program.

The 2016 �鶹ӰԺ Golden Flashes have shattered the record for the highest annual grade point average (GPA) in program history. They also broke the record for the most students with a perfect 4.0. 

The �鶹ӰԺ at Tuscarawas Performing Arts Center 2016-17 season will feature 21 diverse and high-quality performances, including comedy, dance, Broadway shows and additional concerts.

Over the course of the Spring 2016 Semester, three �鶹ӰԺ advertising majors developed an integrated marketing campaign for V8^®+Energy. 

�鶹ӰԺ students and alumni received a Judge’s Choice award, along with two gold and nine silver awards at the 2016 American Advertising Federation of Akron’s (AAF-Akron) ADDY award ceremony, themed “Advertising Abe” in honor of Abraham Lincoln’s birthday.

Elizabeth Z. Bartz, president and CEO of State and Federal Communications, has provided a $30,000 endowment to �鶹ӰԺ at Trumbull, in Warren, Ohio, to provide scholarships for graduating seniors from Howland High School.

The 10th annual Barbara Donaho Distinguished Leadership in Learning Awards Ceremony was held recently at the �鶹ӰԺ Student Center Ballroom.

�鶹ӰԺ will hold its Spring 2016 Commencement ceremonies for the �鶹ӰԺ Campus on Friday, May 13, and Saturday, May 14, at the Memorial Athletic and Convocation (MAC) Center, and on Friday, May 20, at Cartwright Hall.
