The �鶹ӰԺ at Salem team gathered at the Crazy Horse Memorial in South Dakota where an educator from the Lakota tribe used hoops to explain various aspects of the Lakota culture to the students.

Four members of the nursing faculty at �鶹ӰԺ at Salem, along with 15 nursing students, traveled to the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in southern South Dakota to interact with members of the Oglala Lakota Sioux tribe.

When the concept of homelessness comes to mind, people tend to focus efforts on food donations, but Ashley Flowers, a junior majoring in psychology and criminology and justice studies at �鶹ӰԺ, wants to remind people that clothing and toiletries also are essential items.

Christopher Bell Receives the 2015 Outstanding Tutor Award from the College Reading and Learning Association

Christopher Bell is the 2015 recipient of the College Reading and Learning Association’s (CRLA) Outstanding Tutor Award — the first-ever recipient from an Ohio college or university.

The talents of 18 �鶹ӰԺ students were on display at �鶹ӰԺ Student Center Programming’s 12th annual Rock the Runway fashion show, which took place March 5. Fashion was king on a night that featured the sights and sounds of this year’s theme, The Jacksons.
