At the start of the 2016 academic year, Â鶹ӰԺ becomes the first university in the country to feature an entirely gluten-free dining hall on campus.

In line with Â鶹ӰԺ’s vision to make the health of its community members a priority, the university’s healthy campus initiative, Â鶹ӰԺ State of Wellness, will foster a culture of health and wellness for students and employees at all Â鶹ӰԺ State campuses.

Â鶹ӰԺ President Beverly Warren recently presented 14 Â鶹ӰԺ State faculty members with the President’s Faculty Excellence Award, which recognizes exceptional performance that leads to the achievement of national or international recognition.

Beginning fall 2016, Stark State College students with an Associate Degree in Nursing (A.D.N.) and their state license can earn their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) degree at Â鶹ӰԺ at Stark through an articulation agreement signed this summer.

Â鶹ӰԺ’s Dining Services has partnered with Tapingo to enable students, faculty and staff to order their meals online, pay electronically via their meal plan or credit card and request a pickup time. 

Â鶹ӰԺ’s Richard Ferdig has spent a lot of his time at the university using technology to improve teaching and learning environments.

Three community members have been named to the Tuscarawas County University Branch District Board of Trustees and the Tuscarawas County University Foundation at Â鶹ӰԺ at Tuscarawas.

Ratchneewan Ross, associate dean of the Ph.D. program and director of international initiatives at Â鶹ӰԺ’s College of Nursing, will be inducted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing in October.

Â鶹ӰԺ will hold its Summer 2016 Commencement ceremony for the Â鶹ӰԺ Campus on Saturday, Aug. 20, at the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center.
