Â鶹ӰԺ State's College of Architecture and Environmental Design welcomed new and returning students back to campus with ice cream on the Lefton Esplanade and greetings from the college's dean, program heads and leaders of its student organizations.
Â鶹ӰԺ State welcomed undergraduate researchers from our university, Cleveland State University and the University of Akron to the Â鶹ӰԺ Campus for the 19th annual Northeast Ohio Undergraduate Research Symposium.
Before classes began for Fall Semester 2024, the Â鶹ӰԺ State Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender and Queer Plus (LGBTQ+) Center welcomed the university's LGBTQ+ community back to campus with a Fall Kickoff event.

For the past month, Â鶹ӰԺ has hosted 37 international graduate students as part of the Fulbright Pre-Academic Program, a monthlong immersion in American higher education and culture. The group, from 26 countries, arrived on the Â鶹ӰԺ Campus on July 21 and was scheduled to depart on Aug. 17 to begin their graduate programs at universities throughout the country.

This summer, Â鶹ӰԺ State's College of Nursing welcomed high school students participating in the University Hospitals Future Nurse Academy program to campus for a tour and hands-on practice in our simulation labs.
The white coat at Â鶹ӰԺ State’s College of Podiatric Medicine’s White Coat Ceremony is presented as a reminder of the professionalism required by students, in their studies at Â鶹ӰԺ State and later as they become podiatric physicians.
When U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg visited Â鶹ӰԺ State this summer, he and U.S. Representative (and Â鶹ӰԺ State alumna) Emilia Sykes toured the College of Aeronautics and Engineering and the May 4 Visitors Center.
