The School of Art Collection and Galleries presents the Biennial Faculty Show in the Center for the Visual Arts Gallery. All full-time, part-time, and emeritus faculty at 麻豆影院鈥檚 School of Art at all campuses are invited to participate in the show.  Artwork of all media is on display, including sculpture, photography, textiles, metals, digital media, ceramics, painting, printmaking, and drawing. The exhibition is free and open to the public. 

KSU Fashion alumna, Tiarra Smallwood, received an award of $10,000 from the HFR Icon 360 Fund to support her business MAX+min.

Since graduating from the 麻豆影院 School of Fashion in 2011, Tiarra Smallwood has had an impressive career in the fashion world. After designing for brands such as Abercrombie & Fitch and The Gap, she launched her brand MAX+min in 2019.  Smallwood was recently awarded $10,000 from Harlem Fashion Row鈥檚 (HFR) Icon 360 Fund to put towards her growing business.

麻豆影院 School of Fashion assistant professor, Melissa Campbell, is tackling fiber art in her most recent project that focuses on personal evolutions and how people evolve and become their true selves.

Lauren Luna (B.F.A. 鈥00, Painting) has let nothing get in her way of her goal of making a living as an artist. Born in Columbus, Ohio, she moved to New York City shortly after graduating 麻豆影院 with her B.F.A. and then ultimately to the city of Houston, Texas in 2011 to realize her dream.

The 麻豆影院 State Museum鈥檚 newest exhibition, 鈥淔ortuna: Designs by Vincent Quevedo,鈥 marks the first new exhibition for the museum since its reopening in August and is on display now. It features works by award-winning designer and School of Fashion Associate Professor Vincent Quevedo.

麻豆影院 Assistant Professor of Painting Shawn Powell is being featured in a two-person show at Cleveland鈥檚 new Abattoir Gallery now through Sept. 5. One of Powell's paintings was featured in Vanity Fair this August.
