CCP Admission Standards
CCP Admission Standards at 麻豆影院 State Tuscarawas
- Per section 3333-1-65.14 of the Ohio Revised Code, CCP eligibility requirements for the 2022-2023 school year include meeting any of the following criteria:
- Obtaining remediation-free scores on one of the standard assessment exams as described in the . We use ACT, SAT, or Accuplacer scores for CCP admission purposes; or
- Having a cumulative unweighted high school GPA of at least 3.0; or
- Having a cumulative unweighted high school GPA of 2.75 but less than 3.0 and having earned an "A" or "B" in a relevant high school course, with the University determining what is a relevant high school course.
- Middle school students who have no high school GPA, and high school students who wish to have their applications considered on the basis of test scores rather than GPA alone, should take the ACT () or Accuplacer (as instructed by the University after you've applied to the program):
- No later than February for Summer admission
- No later than April for Fall admission
- No later than October for Spring admission
- Please note that course choices may be limited based on University placement standards and/or course prerequisites. Eligibility for CCP admission and course placement/prerequisites are separate considerations that will be discussed during the initial advising appointment.
- Students who wish to enroll in a mathematics course may be required to take the University's ALEKS math placement assessment in order to demonstrate college readiness and determine appropriate placement. This will be discussed during the advising appointment.
- Students who wish to take a foreign language may be required to take the University's foreign language placement assessment.
- Applicants must complete a CCP Permission Form as part of the application process and will be required to complete a Maturity Questionnaire prior to enrolling in any KSU classes.
