The new "Get to Know �鶹ӰԺ State" video from �鶹ӰԺ Admissions features 14 students from across the university inviting curious potential Golden Flashes to take a virtual look into the campus. Not only do these �鶹ӰԺ State narrators spotlight the university’s global opportunities and local highlights, but they also had a great time doing it.

Increased activity in the sun's solar winds and the earth's magnetic field has produced appearances by the northern lights  in regions where they are not typically visible - like the skies above the �鶹ӰԺ Campus. A �鶹ӰԺ State photographer captured spectacular images of the display. 

Three Minute Thesis is an opportunity for graduate students to put their academic, presentation, and research communication skills to the test by presenting research in three minutes to a non-specialist audience.

"No rain, no rainbows," is how the saying goes and on this rainy morning, a rainbow glowed over the Lefton Esplande and all of �鶹ӰԺ. 

�鶹ӰԺ State chose October as Mental Health Awareness Month because the need for mental health support peaks during the month.

�鶹ӰԺ President Todd Diacon showcased the institution's far-reaching impact on Ohio and beyond during the annual Bowman Breakfast event held at the �鶹ӰԺ Student Center Ballroom.

Sponsored by the �鶹ӰԺ State Alumni Association, the Alumni Awards are the university’s most prestigious alumni honors. The 2024 Alumni Award recipients include seven alumni, two recent graduates, one staff member and one current student.

Students, faculty, staff, and administrators are encouraged to take the “Our Voices Count” Engagement and Well-Being Survey by the Oct. 20 deadline.

�鶹ӰԺ has entered into an agreement with the Turkmenistan Ministry of Education to begin exploring the possibility of creating an educational partnership with several national institutes of higher learning there. The effort is part of �鶹ӰԺ State’s ongoing commitment to using education to foster global understanding and peace in a divided world.

The Office of Intercultural Student Life, formerly known as International Student Affairs, has a new central location in the �鶹ӰԺ Student Center, which has made it more accessible to international students. Along with the new location comes the mission to provide drop-in services for international students.
