Nearly $1 million in new scholarships will provide critical support to �鶹ӰԺ State students in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

The �鶹ӰԺ alumni family grew by more than 2,500 new graduates as the university held its fall Commencement ceremonies. The accomplishments of the Fall Class of 2022 were recognized with in-person ceremonies for all colleges and degrees on Dec. 17.

A team of university leaders and communicators from �鶹ӰԺ State is currently visiting the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná in Brazil.

�鶹ӰԺ senior Carlton “CeeJay” Scott Jr. can barely contain his excitement when he talks about his upcoming study-abroad experience at the American University in Cairo, Egypt. The food, the people, the ancient pyramids – Scott’s goals are to create a short film while he is away, learn to speak Arabic and, hopefully, to expand his cooking repertoire with new tastes and flavors of the Middle Eastern culture. 

The �鶹ӰԺ Board of Trustees approved the establishment of a new master’s degree that will help meet two decades of sustained growth in the broad field of conflict studies. The new Peace and Conflict Studies major within the Master of Arts degree will be offered in person on the �鶹ӰԺ Campus and will prepare students for careers as practitioners in the fields of peace and conflict management and for doctorate study.

�鶹ӰԺ State’s College of Nursing offers programs on five of the university’s eight campuses. 

In every �鶹ӰԺ video commercial there are students. Students are the face of �鶹ӰԺ State. But students do more than participate as talent in front of the camera. They help plan, record and edit these videos. And let us say, these videos take longer than you think to create.
