Move-in days create excitement and emotion in everyone on campus, ahead of the start of fall classes next week. 

The �鶹ӰԺ alumni family grew by nearly 1,200 new graduates as the university held its summer commencement ceremonies. The accomplishments of the Summer Class of 2023 were recognized with outdoor commencement ceremonies on Aug. 19.

�鶹ӰԺ State’s Office of Admissions is seeing its hard work, creativity and strategic planning pay off by way of increased engagement and an elevated level of interest in the university. 

�鶹ӰԺ State-sponsored math camp helps to prepare high school students for plentiful STEM jobs in Ohio.

�鶹ӰԺ is hosting 39 international graduate students for the Fulbright Pre-Academic Program, a monthlong immersion in American higher education and culture. 

�鶹ӰԺ graduate Erik Gomez, who earned his bachelor’s degree in political science in May, spoke at Spring Commencement about his journey as a first-generation Latino-American student.

Every summer, the �鶹ӰԺ Campus welcomes hundreds of high school students and their parents to discover �鶹ӰԺ State at Preview KSU.

First-generation, non-traditional student Yalanda Cunningham knows that �鶹ӰԺ State has her back. After graduating with her associate's degree from a community college in Kalamazoo, Cunningham decided to finish her bachelor’s degree at �鶹ӰԺ. “I believe you can go so much further in your life,” Cunningham said, “if you had a solid background in education,” she said. 

�鶹ӰԺ State's visitors to Rwanda had opportunities to speak with officials dedicated to the country's peaceful future. 

�鶹ӰԺ State is one of 21 institutions that has advanced to the First Scholars phase of the First Scholars Network. Faculty and staff are hard at work to provide a higher-quality experience for first generation students.
