�鶹ӰԺ track and field graduates  and  competed in the women's shot put this past Saturday at the 2023 World Athletics Championships at the National Athletics Centre.

Kyle Jackson hit a two-out three-run homer, capping a four-run eighth and giving the Golden Flashes a 6-4 comeback win over the Western Michigan Broncos in the opening game of the 2023 Mid-American Conference tournament.

For 19 years, �鶹ӰԺ student-athletes have always been able to count on one fan to be there to cheer them on at every event. That fan is Heather Strittmatter, better known as Super Fan.

Emily Maslanka was among 34 �鶹ӰԺ State students who traveled to Kansas City in April 2023 to work the NFL draft through a partnership arranged by Mark Lyberger, associate professor in �鶹ӰԺ State’s Sports Administration program in the School of Foundations, Leadership and Administration in the College of Education, Health and Human Services.  

The movie recounting LeBron James’ high school career, “Shooting Stars,” is set to release this summer, and the cast is more than just star-studded, it features a �鶹ӰԺ student-athlete.

Randale L. Richmond will lead �鶹ӰԺ State Athletics through July 1, 2028, as vice president and director of intercollegiate athletics, in accordance with a contract amendment announced by �鶹ӰԺ President Todd Diacon.
