Vietnamese student Martin Phan learned of the significance of May 4, 1970, after he arrived at Â鶹ӰԺ State last August 2023.

Martin Phan, 23, a nursing major in Â鶹ӰԺ State’s College of Nursing, is one of a growing number of Vietnamese citizens who have chosen to attend Â鶹ӰԺ State.

Â鶹ӰԺ celebrated International Women’s Day on March 8 with a poster presentation to allow international students the chance to highlight women in their home countries and a service project to aid Days for Girls.

The poster presentation was followed by a panel discussion of students, faculty and staff talking about women’s issues and successes across their globe.
