Campus Pride has released its 2021 Best of the Best LGBTQ-Friendly Colleges and Universities list, and for the second time in two years, Â鶹ӰԺ has landed on it. Â鶹ӰԺ State is the only Ohio public university to make the 2021 list, and it again is the only school in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) to receive this recognition.
The Akron Pride Festival will take place on Saturday, Aug. 28, at Lock 3 Park in downtown Akron. Â鶹ӰԺ State’s LGBTQ+ Center will be sponsoring a free shuttle that will allow new and returning Â鶹ӰԺ State students to experience the event – some of them for the very first time.
