Celebrating 10 years as a student organization, Her Campus Â鶹ӰԺ State presents a full week of career-focused events with panels, speakers and a runway fashion show.

An event like the total solar eclipse observed in Â鶹ӰԺ on April 8 can help to shake up our lives from the mundane. Poetry can work in the same way, said Chris Wick, son of Walt Wick, one of the founders of Â鶹ӰԺ’s Wick Poetry Center.

Campus and community came together to share a once-in-a-lifetime event at Â鶹ӰԺ. 

The Â鶹ӰԺ State library stands tall in darkness while the moon blocks out the sun during the total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024.

It was a party 218 years in the making.

The thousands of people who came to Â鶹ӰԺ on April 8 to witness the total solar eclipse did not leave disappointed by the celestial show, the likes of which had not been seen in Â鶹ӰԺ, Ohio since 1806.

As the 2024 total solar eclipse passes over Â鶹ӰԺ, Ohio, on Monday, April 8, Â鶹ӰԺ students, faculty and staff have the unique opportunity to witness an optical illusion known as the Purkinje effect.
