After two Category 5 hurricanes hit her home, Debra Thomas graduates with the help of the Â鶹ӰԺ College of Nursing Student Emergency Fund.

Debra Thomas wanted to be a nurse to help people, but she was the one who ended up in need after two hurricanes hit her home in the Caribbean.

Â鶹ӰԺ College of Nursing seniors, Alyssa Lodi (back, right) and Anna Hunker (front, right), lead a group of middle school students through simple yoga stretches to promote relaxation and mindfulness during the health and wellness fair.

Alliance Middle School students are more likely to make healthy lifestyle choices after attending a health and wellness fair presented by a group of senior nursing students from Â鶹ӰԺ College of Nursing. The adolescents rotated through four exhibits which focused on positive self-talk, mindfulness and stress management, the importance of sleep, and anti-bullying and building healthy relationships.
