�鶹ӰԺ’s new FedEx Aeronautics Academic Center provides a world-class training ground to help aviation students and future pilots soar to even greater achievements.

Kenzie Alge, a �鶹ӰԺ certified flight instructor and 2019 graduate, and Alex Johnson, a �鶹ӰԺ State junior flight technology student, make up the �鶹ӰԺ State team competing in the 2019 Air Race Classic that starts June 18 in Jackson, Tennessee. 

FedEx Corp. has pledged $5 million, in addition to $1.5 million already given, in support of an aeronautics academic center that will be located at the �鶹ӰԺ Airport. The new 17,800-square-foot building will be named the FedEx Aeronautics Academic Center.

From the �鶹ӰԺ State Magazine, “I want to be a voice in the renewable energy community,” says Angela Deibel, reluctant to give up her marketing edge. “I don’t want to just be an engineer—though I love it—but I want to tell [the public] about renewable energy.”
