�鶹ӰԺ’s Fashion School continuously finds ways to innovate. Its unique lifestyle boutique, Fashion School Store (FSStore), in downtown �鶹ӰԺ recently added a new line called “Sustainability RETOLD.” This collection includes sustainably made clothing, featuring work from five different students and three faculty.

�鶹ӰԺ’s favorite unofficial mascot – the famous black squirrel – needs your help to get ready for Halloween. Squirrel-O-Ween allows the �鶹ӰԺ State community to dress up an animated black squirrel with the latest spooky costumes and props and share with friends on social and digital media.

The School of Theatre and Dance’s Design, Technology and Production program has been selected by On Stage Blog as one of the top 30 programs for the 2019-2020 academic year.

�鶹ӰԺ’s Hugh A. Glauser School of Music and Tuesday Musical, based in Akron, have launched a new series that will bring world-renowned classical musicians to the �鶹ӰԺ Campus to work with students.

Love, loss and hope. These are three critical elements Maria Jacobs brings – along with her considerable professional experience – to the �鶹ӰԺ community. Jacobs is a part-time instructor in the Hugh A. Glauser School of Music and a nationally known jazz singer.

“The Great Gatsby,” a book many read in high school. We remember the green light on the dock, the passion and the tragedy. What many didn't know – until recently – was that the story was also printed in the newspaper.

When �鶹ӰԺ alumnus Eric Meek is not working in a glass art studio, one may find him on the small screen sharing his expertise in the new Netflix series called “Blown Away.”

Almost 50 years ago, the shootings of �鶹ӰԺ students by the Ohio National Guard brought to a head the cultural divides that had split the nation. The �鶹ӰԺ Museum’s exhibition, “Culture/Counterculture: Fashions of the 1960s and ’70s,” opening Sept. 20, explores the sharp contrast between supporters of the establishment and those opposed.

�鶹ӰԺ jazz ensembles instructor, Christopher J. Coles aspires to evoke emotions and conversations surrounding topics like social injustice and race through the display. “Nine Lives Project” has been viewed at workshops throughout Cleveland, Canada, and most recently broadcast in a Shuffle session with WKSU.

�鶹ӰԺ is pleased and proud to announce the return of “We the People,” a photography exhibition that shines a light on our common humanity.
