Flu Shot Clinics Still Available

Employees enrolled in one of the university-sponsored group health plans through Medical Mutual or Anthem are eligible for a free flu shot. You must bring your insurance ID card with you to the clinic. If you are not covered by one of the university’s group health plans, you can still participate for $30 (check payable to �鶹ӰԺ).

The following clinics are available. Registration is required.

The flu shot clinics are open to all �鶹ӰԺ State students, faculty, staff and dependents. For questions regarding the flu vaccine clinics, contact University Health Services at 330-672-2322.

The �鶹ӰԺ Hotel and Conference Center is lit up at night, welcoming visitors to downtown �鶹ӰԺ. The hotel marked its fifth anniversary this past June.

More than 100,000 rooms reserved, nearly 146,000 guests served, more than 2,000 events hosted and 89 weddings booked.

2024-2025 December/January Holiday Schedule

�鶹ӰԺ's holiday closure for 2024 will begin Monday, Dec. 23, 2024, at 10:30 p.m. All offices will re-open on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025. Employees not eligible for the paid leave include student employees, classified temporary staff, temporary agency staff, short-term unclassified appointments, unclassified intermittent appointments and employees in a lay-off status. More information on the holiday schedule, including how employees should report time during that period, will be available later this month.

Religious and Spiritual Accommodations Allow Students Time to Celebrate Other Religious Holidays

Testing Your Faith Act (H.B. 353) was enacted in the Spring 2023 semester. In ordinance with this bill, �鶹ӰԺ created a new administrative policy for religious and spiritual accommodations. This administrative policy allows students to report up to three days of unexcused absences to participate in religious holidays or community-held events in alignment with their spirituality.
