In October, Susan Willeke of the Ohio Ethics Commission presented Ethics Training for Public University Employees to �鶹ӰԺ State staff. Because the university is committed to reinforcing the importance of our ethical obligations as a public institution, the Office of General Counsel has made that recording available to anyone who was unable to attend. The Office of General Counsel is always available to answer any questions or concerns regarding ethical issues or dilemmas.

Parking permits can be renewed online through Friday, May 16, 2025. After May 16, permits can be purchased in person in the Parking Services office located in room 123 Schwartz Center. For permit renewal assistance contact Parking Services at 330-672-4432 or by email at parking@kent.edu.
To better serve our patrons, University Libraries will join other OhioLINK institutions in replacing the �鶹ӰԺLINK platform with a new library system that will offer a host of benefits to support 21st-century teaching, learning and research. The new system is scheduled to go live on June 23.

Congratulations to Beverly Reed, Ph.D., professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences in the College of Arts and Sciences at �鶹ӰԺ for being selected as �鶹ӰԺ State’s 2025 Mid-American Conference (MAC) Outstanding Faculty Award for Student Success. Reed is one of only 11 institutional winners of the award given to recognize the outstanding efforts of MAC faculty to support and develop students both inside and outside of the classroom.
