Social Studies Education

Are you interested in an undergraduate degree that will equip you to teach Social Studies?

Middle Childhood Education: Social Studies is one of four possible concentrations (plus the teaching of reading) for the Middle Childhood Bachelor of Science in Education degree.

Adolescent & Young Adult Education: Social Studies is one of eight possible concentrations available for the Bachelor of Science in Education degree. The Integrated Social Studies program prepares prospective teachers to teach all social studies classes, grades 7-12.

Are you a social studies teacher who wants to think more about the teaching and learning of social studies?

Looking for great classes in Social Studies Education to think about social studies with other educators?

These courses also are all applicable towards the C&I Master's and Doctoral degrees with an emphasis in social studies education. For details on current and future courses go to the graduate course offerings page.
