Three students received Best in Show honors during the April 19 ΒιΆΉΣ°ΤΊ at Tuscarawas 14th annual Student Computer Designed Art Exhibition. The art expo was held at the Tuscarawas County Center for the Arts in New Philadelphia.
Leslie Oakes won Best in Show and Deanβs Choice for her artwork, βApocalypsis Aquarius.β Oakes is a senior majoring in the Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology with a concentration in Computer Design, Animation and Game Design. Lauren Moore won Best in Show and Deanβs Choice for her artwork, βWake up, in a city.β Moore is a sophomore pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology with a concentration in Computer Design, Animation and Game Design. Megan Smith won Best in Show for her artwork, βUrsa.β Smith is a sophomore pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology with a concentration in Computer Design, Animation and Game Design.
Ella Neading won High School Deanβs Choice for her artwork, βMelted Geometrics.β She is a freshman at Dover High School. She was also awarded a $250 scholarship.
There were a total of 31 new, 18 old, and 3 high school pieces of art featured at the art expo, with all pieces available for print ordering.
