Michelle Corvette is the new assistant director of �鶹ӰԺ State’s Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL). The CTL’s mission is to enrich student's lives by supporting faculty members with evidence-based, student-focused and innovative teaching and learning measures. Corvette is excited about providing support to �鶹ӰԺ State faculty across all of the �鶹ӰԺ State campuses. Learn more about Corvette and the CTL as she answers these 10 questions.

Peggy Shadduck is vice president for Regional Campuses and dean of the College of Applied and Technical Studies. She serves as the senior officer responsible for overall leadership of the �鶹ӰԺ State Regional Campus system. Her role promotes student enrollment and academic success and is responsible for expanding the visibility, influence and effectiveness of �鶹ӰԺ State as a catalyst for regional development.

Roseann “Chic” Canfora, Ph.D., is a Professional-in-Residence at �鶹ӰԺ in the School of Media and Journalism, part of the College of Communication and Information. Prior to teaching at �鶹ӰԺ State, Canfora served as the chief communications officer for the Cleveland Metropolitan School District and taught high school journalism and speech. Canfora was also a student at �鶹ӰԺ State, starting in 1968, and is a survivor of the May 4, 1970, shootings at �鶹ӰԺ State. She graduated with her master’s in journalism and public relations and bachelor’s in English/speech. She is heavily involved in activism as well.

Darin Olson, D.M.A., is the new director of Athletic Bands at �鶹ӰԺ. He leads the Marching Golden Flashes, Flasher Brass Pep Band, �鶹ӰԺ Symphony Band and University Band. Olson is currently an active member of College Band Directors National Association and the National Association for Music Education.
