Â鶹ӰԺ State alumnus helps students and members of the community find their confidence in learning self-defense.
For more than 10 years, Â鶹ӰԺ at Ashtabula has built a partnership with the technology company ID Networks, giving information technology students real-life experience in their field and helping connect them to a potential employer.

Hosted by the Â鶹ӰԺ State Department of Accounting, the event brought together 85 students from Â鶹ӰԺ Theodore Roosevelt High School, North Canton Hoover High School, Aurora High School and Tallmadge High School. The competition was sponsored by The Ohio Society of CPAs, Pease Bell CPAs, Robert Fay, Ernst & Young, Novogradac and RSM.

Â鶹ӰԺ State alumnus Richard Batyko, M.A., ’12, has committed his life and career to making the world, specifically Greater Cleveland, a better place. This year, he and the YMCA of Greater Cleveland (for which he serves as Chief Marketing Officer) are working with Â鶹ӰԺ advertising and public relations seniors in the capstone class, Campaigns in Advertising and Public Relations, to raise awareness about the organization's mission.
Mary Seats, a 2010 graduate of Â鶹ӰԺ, says she combined the tools she acquired while a student at Â鶹ӰԺ State with her own passion and grit to create the successes she enjoys today.
Jason Werstler, a 2001 Â鶹ӰԺ graduate who majored in education, is one of 25 teachers across the nation who were recently recognized for teaching excellence. He teaches construction at Massillon Washington High School in Massillon, Ohio.
