There is a light inside every Golden Flash, and it is our charge to shine that light on others. Â鶹ӰԺ State’s most generous annual tradition, Giving Tuesday, encourages us to reflect on our experiences and shine our light to make our communities Forever Brighter.

Members of the Â鶹ӰԺ community joined together to cause a ripple effect of change reaching far beyond Â鶹ӰԺ State, raising more than $4.9 million to support scholarships and programs across the university for its Giving Tuesday 2024 campaign.

Â鶹ӰԺ supporters once again joined together during the university’s Giving Tuesday campaign to raise more than $2.8 million to support a variety of student scholarships and programs.

When we come together, Golden Flashes create a legacy of brilliance that makes the world Forever Brighter.

At Â鶹ӰԺ, we are continuing the proud tradition of giving back during the Giving Tuesday campaign this November. This monthlong celebration of giving brings the Â鶹ӰԺ State community together to support student success and build a brighter future for the blue and gold.

This November, members of the Â鶹ӰԺ community joined together to shine their light on philanthropy. During the November campaign, Â鶹ӰԺ State’s Giving Tuesday raised $3.6 million, marking the sixth year it has brought in more than $1 million to support scholarships and programs across Â鶹ӰԺ State’s eight-campus system.

This Giving Tuesday, shine your light on Â鶹ӰԺ State students and programs with a gift of $25 or more to the fund of your choice and receive a special Forever Brighter pin to celebrate your impact. Â鶹ӰԺ State’s most generous annual tradition runs Nov. 1-29, with special giving incentives throughout the month. Make your impact go further by participating in Giving Tuesday! 

On Thursday, Nov. 3 at 5:30 p.m., the women’s basketball team will be hosting Mercyhurst University in the MAC Center for their first game of the season. All Â鶹ӰԺ State faculty and staff who present a valid Â鶹ӰԺ State ID will receive free admission for themselves and one guest.

This year, Â鶹ӰԺ donors demonstrated the power of philanthropy by giving at unprecedented levels. The 2021 Giving Tuesday campaign shattered the previous records, more than tripling last year’s record of $2.2 million.
