Gabriella Humes is a senior Honors College student graduating with a double-major in fashion merchandising and finance. Gabriella has been very successful at �鶹ӰԺ State, completing an internship and three study away programs. However, one of Gabriella’s proudest accomplishments is recently completing a Senior Honors Thesis that combined both of her majors into one project. 

The �鶹ӰԺ Creativity Festival, sponsored by the city of �鶹ӰԺ and the �鶹ӰԺ College of the Arts, will present the annual outdoor hands-on arts festival on Saturday, Sept. 28, from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on the Lefton Esplanade between �鶹ӰԺ State’s Rockwell Hall on Lincoln Street and downtown �鶹ӰԺ, near Haymaker Parkway.

In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of May 4, 1970, when Ohio National Guardsmen opened fire on �鶹ӰԺ students protesting the U.S. invasion of Cambodia during the Vietnam War, killing four and wounding nine, students and faculty from �鶹ӰԺ State’s School of Fashion Design and Merchandising are bringing attention to current social issues in the new exhibition called “Wearing Justice: Perspectives From KSU Fashion School Faculty and Students” that is on display now at the �鶹ӰԺ Museum.

Dillard’s Inc., one of the nation’s premier and largest fashion retailers, will partner with �鶹ӰԺ’s School of Fashion Design and Merchandising to present the school’s 2019 Annual Fashion Show, FS².
