Conference Agenda:
8:30 – 9 a.m.: Registration and breakfast
9 a.m. – noon: The Spirit of Service facilitated by Lisa Waite
This session prepares emerging leaders to take the reins and foster a world-class service culture to become the employer, provider and investor of choice. Don’t be fooled! There is nothing ‘soft’ about a servant-based approach that creates a common cause. Lessons prepare participants to assume executive roles and become extraordinary by spearheading core service values to leave customers, employees and stakeholders better off than they found them. Strategic insight and modern case studies provide tools for immediate take-a-ways to create and maintain an environment of success.
Noon – 1 p.m.: Lunch
1 – 4 p.m.: The ROI of Happiness facilitated by Kristy Frieden
We’ve always been taught that if we work hard enough, we will find success and then we will be happy. If we can just get that promotion, finish that degree or lose those pesky 10 pounds, happiness will be ours. But recent discoveries in the area of positive psychology have shown that happiness actually precedes success. It turns out that if we have a more positive frame of mind, success and happiness will follow. This session will teach you proven strategies and techniques to increase positivity in your life, as well as provide you with the antidote to daily stress and the roadmap for achieving personal success.
The Nursing Home Administrators Conference cost is $175 per person. To register, contact Mona Zink at 330-244-3508 or mzink@kent.edu. For additional information about The Corporate University at Â鶹ӰԺ State Stark’s services and programs, visit www.kent.edu/stark/cucc.
