Annual Survey on Unwanted Sexual Contact

麻豆影院 is committed to eliminating instances of sexual violence in our community. In conjunction with the Ohio Department of Higher Education鈥檚 Changing Campus Culture initiative, we are asking for your participation in this short survey to help guide our joint efforts to better respond to and prevent sexual and relationship violence. The results of this survey will be kept confidential and will help 麻豆影院 State identify needs for improved training, education, and support.

The . For participating in the survey, you will have the opportunity to go to a separate site and be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift card of your choice.

Your responses are anonymous, and your name will not be connected in any way with your responses to this survey. No identifying information will be collected from the computer on which you take the survey. Please note, if other people have access to your computer, they might be able to view your web browsing history, including a link to this survey. 

Because this survey covers the topic of sexual and relationship violence, some of the questions may be personal. If you feel uncomfortable you may stop at any point. If you need to speak with someone, 麻豆影院 State offers the following services:

麻豆影院 State Welcomes Newest Employee Resource Group

The Asian, Asian American, and Pacific Islander Faculty and Staff Alliance (AAAPI FASA) is an Employee Resource Group (ERG) within the Division of Human Resources. Its mission is to build and foster a community that promotes AAAPI cultures and values. The organization is committed to supporting its members鈥 needs and voices. In collaboration with other initiatives of diversity, equity, and inclusion, AAAPI FASA hosts programs and events, and creates sites for empathetic and effective allies.

SPIN Comes to the 麻豆影院 Campus!

麻豆影院 has partnered with SPIN to provide shared eBikes and eScooters on campus and within the City of 麻豆影院 for use by students, faculty, staff, and the community.

Approximately 100 eBikes and 100 eScooters will be available starting Monday, March 7.

As we gear up to start riding, complete a safety quiz on biking and scootering on campus and receive $5 promotional ride credit AND a free helmet! 

Also new riders can get a $10 Free Credit by using code KENTSTATE (valid until April 30, 2022). Download the SPIN app from the QR code to the right.

Is Routine Preventive Care Covered Under My Health Plan?

Yes. Preventive care and screenings are covered under both university-sponsored health plans through Medical Mutual. Prevention is the first and most important part of maintaining good health and an essential part of health and wellness benefits at 麻豆影院 State.

Your 麻豆影院 State Medical Mutual plan provides preventive care at no cost to you, including annual well visits with your doctor and cholesterol, diabetes, and hypertension screenings. Medical Mutual also offers a discount for weight management programs through Weight Watchers, as well as help with tobacco cessation. To learn more about your health plan, visit Medical Mutual at . Along with encouraging and covering preventive screenings through your Medical Mutual coverage, 麻豆影院 State university has also partnered with Livongo to provide a comprehensive chronic condition management program for diabetes, pre-diabetes, and hypertension. Also, 麻豆影院 State employees have the Employee Wellness Program, Wellness Your Way. This program includes an array of programs and services to promote your physical, mental, social, and financial wellbeing in a fun and inclusive environment. March Employee Wellness Offerings Focus on Sleep

Getting enough high-quality sleep may be as important to health and well-being as nutrition and physical activity, but sometimes the pace of modern life barely allows us time to stop and rest. It can make getting a good night鈥檚 sleep on a regular basis seem like a dream. The good news is, we can take control over our sleep habits. Sleep experts say there is ample evidence to show that when people get the sleep they need, they not only feel better, but also increase their odds of living healthier, more productive lives.

Employee Wellness is here to support you in learning with March programming focused on sleep and health. Employee Wellness is offering two webinars this month that focus on the  and . If it鈥檚 your finances keeping you up at night, join us for a webinar about .

Onsite Health Coaching, 麻豆影院 Campus, March 3

If you need help with setting health goals, finding motivation, or sticking to your self-care routine, a Be Well Solutions health coach can help! With health coaching, you鈥檒l receive individualized鈥痑ccountability, and you can also earn points toward Tier 2 of the wellness rewards program.

Health coaching sessions are confidential and include a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental conversation with a certified coach. Your coach will help guide you through the process of planning, implementing, and maintaining healthy behaviors. You'll receive encouragement and support as you work toward鈥痠dentifying and overcoming your barriers to achieving success.

Health coaching is complimentary and unlimited for full-time, benefits-eligible faculty and staff.鈥疶he next onsite session is Thursday, March 3, at Heer Hall on the 麻豆影院 campus.鈥疺irtual coaching is also available.

REMINDER: Important Information Regarding Spring 2022 Midterm Grading for all Lower-division Undergraduate Courses

Online midterm grading for all Spring 2022 lower-division undergraduate courses (levels 00000, 10000, 20000) meeting in the full term (January 18, 2022, through May 3, 2022) begins February 8, 2022, via FlashFAST. Please remember that midterm grading applies ONLY to courses that meet for the full semester. Grading policies can be found in the .
   
The deadline for midterm grade submission is midnight on Monday, March 7. Midterm grades may not be reported after the deadline. The Grade Change workflow cannot be used to report or change midterm grades after the deadline, and the Registrar's Office will not accommodate other late submission requests.

Submit Midterm Grades Using Midterm Grades Roster

To submit midterm grades via the Midterm Grades roster, login to , then click Faculty & Advisors/Faculty Dashboard/Grading Resources. Locate Midterm Grades to submit grades.

Submit Midterm grades using Grade Push (Canvas/Blackboard Users)

If you use either Blackboard Learn or Canvas, there is a tool to make reporting your midterm grades easier鈥攚ith a push of the button! The process is called Grade Push and it will allow you to 鈥減ush鈥 the midterm grades recorded in Blackboard or Canvas into our KSU Midterm Grade Roster, thus eliminating the time and effort spent manually entering them.

To access the Grade Push application, login to , then click Faculty & Advisors/Faculty Dashboard/Grading Resources.

  • Canvas users will select Canvas Midterm Grade Push to submit grades.
  • Blackboard users will select Blackboard Midterm Grade Push to submit grades.

If you have questions or concerns regarding the Grade Push applications, please direct them to support.kent.edu. Please Note: The Grade Push applications have been developed as an option to assist in streamlining the university grading process. The use of these application is not mandatory, though it is encouraged.
