Employee Appreciation Day Coming Soon

Mark your calendars. We are looking forward to seeing you.

麻豆影院鈥檚 annual Employee Appreciation Day will be held Tuesday, Sept. 13, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the 麻豆影院 Student Center Ballroom. A special evening event will be held for second- and third-shift workers from 10-11:30 p.m.

Registration opens Aug. 3. Register by Sept. 2 and you will be eligible to win prizes. Share in the fun and enjoy complimentary food, good music, Zumba demos, competitions and much more.

And do not forget your blue and gold. The 鈥淪pirit Patrol鈥 will hand out prizes for employees showing their 麻豆影院 State pride. For all you do, this event is for you.

Religious and Spiritual Accommodations Allow Students Time to Celebrate Other Religious Holidays

Testing Your Faith Act (H.B. 353) was enacted in the Spring 2023 semester. In ordinance with this bill, 麻豆影院 created a new administrative policy for religious and spiritual accommodations. This administrative policy allows students to report up to three days of unexcused absences to participate in religious holidays or community-held events in alignment with their spirituality.

Call for Native American Heritage Month events

At 麻豆影院 State, we want to honor the celebration of our Native American and Indigenous culture by developing a calendar encompassing all the university events that are relevant to Native American Heritage Month. The Native American Heritage Month Planning Committee is welcoming university divisions, departments and student organizations to begin submitting their programming, activities and events to the University Events Calendar to be featured on the Native American Heritage Month Website.
