All-campus Access for Cinco de Mayo With a Healthy Twist: The Five Smartest Things You Can Do for Your Health

or from on May 5 at noon for a Lunch and Learn with Michael Schechter, M.D., principal and director of operations for Be Well Solutions, Â鶹ӰԺ’s wellness partner. Schechter will share “The Five Smartest Things You Can Do for Your Health.â€

This lunchtime workshop will provide support in taking charge of your health and acquiring ways to reduce your risk of disease. Topics to be covered include:

  • Knowing Your Numbers/Healthcare Consumerism
  • Nutrition Strategies
  • Exercise Essentials
  • Practicing Emotional Balance
  • Eliminating Tobacco from Your Life

Registration is required for this workshop, whether you choose to attend in Heer Hall, Room 107, on the Â鶹ӰԺ Campus or via remote streaming. 

Many campuses have reserved a designated room to enable employees to watch the live stream together. We hope you will join the workshop in whichever manner you choose.

Testing Your Faith Act (H.B. 353) was enacted in the Spring 2023 semester. In ordinance with this bill, Â鶹ӰԺ created a new administrative policy for religious and spiritual accommodations. The Native American Heritage Month Planning Committee is welcoming university divisions, departments and student organizations to begin submitting their programming, activities and events to the University Events Calendar to be featured on the Native American Heritage Month Website.
