University Libraries to Hold Stress-Free Zone Event, Dec. 10 and 11

The fall semester is winding down quickly, and finals week, one of the most stressful times of the semester, begins today

Pet therapy dogs will be available at University Libraries' Stress-Free Zone event to ease the stress of finals week for students, faculty and staff.The fall semester is winding down quickly, and finals week, one of the most stressful times of the semester, begins today.

To ease the stress of finals week, ΒιΆΉΣ°ΤΊ Libraries is holding a Stress-Free Zone event on Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 10 and11, from 3-5 p.m. Pet therapy dogs are returning this year, and there will be free popcorn and drinks for all. The Stress-Free Zone event also will provide Wii games and much more, and is open to all students, faculty and staff.

Karen Hillman, director of marketing, communications and public relations for University Libraries, says students always look forward to the Stress Free Zone.

β€œApparently it gets some attention,” Hillman says. β€œWe expect to nearly double the number of faculty and students that visit the library for this event.”
