How much time do you spend on activities that eat up time and donβt help you reach your goals? Whether at work, home or other day-to-day activities, learning to manage time can be a challenging task. If you have a desire to improve your skills, you are more than halfway to your goal. Participants will learn proven strategies to improve their time management skills. Several tools will be provided to promote immediate management and success.
The July Lunch and Learn presentation titled βStop Wasting Time! Essentials for Time Managementβ will take place on July 11 from noon-1 p.m. in the Heer Hall Training Room.
This monthβs presenter, Pat Schultz, earned both her B.A. and M.B.A. from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Her professional career includes nonprofit management, academia and corporate marketing. As primary trainer for an Employee Assistance Program, Schultz developed expertise in a wide range of human resources and workplace topics. Schultz believes that you learn better when you are having fun and wants her audiences to receive valuable takeaways to be applied immediately.
The Lunch and Learn programs are sponsored by the Division of Human Resources and are held in conjunction with Impact, the universityβs employee assistance program. The hour-long programs are free and open to faculty and staff. However, seating is limited and reservations are required. Employees will have the opportunity to purchase pre-packaged healthy lunches to enjoy during the presentation. If you would like to order a lunch, you must do so before Tuesday, July 9.
