Voters in the city of Â鶹ӰԺ approved an income tax increase in the November 2013 election. As a result, on Jan. 1, 2014, the income tax rate for the city of Â鶹ӰԺ increased from 2 percent to 2.25 percent.

This means that Â鶹ӰԺ employees at the Â鶹ӰԺ Campus will have an additional amount withheld from their paycheck for Â鶹ӰԺ City taxes. The increase will begin with the first pay in January for faculty, classified, unclassified and student employees on the Â鶹ӰԺ Campus.

Â鶹ӰԺ Campus employees who live in a taxing municipality outside of Â鶹ӰԺ should contact their city’s tax office to see if the Â鶹ӰԺ city increase will impact any taxes that may be owed to their city of residence.
