2025 Accreditation Reaffirmation

The Higher Learning Commission will be evaluating 麻豆影院 State during the Site Visit taking place April 14-15, 2025.

Comprehensive Evaluation

HLC conducts comprehensive evaluations of member institutions in year ten of the Open Pathway accreditation process. For 麻豆影院 State this evaluation will begin in spring 2025 and the site visit will take place on April 14-15, 2025. The purpose of this evaluation is to confirm that the institution meets the Criteria for Accreditation and other HLC requirements, is pursuing institutional improvement, and complies with requirements set by the U.S. Department of Education. 

What Does This Mean for Us?

This comprehensive evaluation will require engagement from the entire university community, including students, faculty, staff, and the Board of Trustees. HLC will evaluate the institution at all levels to ensure that 麻豆影院 State meets the highest standards of quality and that our programs and services meet the expectations of both our students and the broader educational community. In order to have a successful Reaffirmation of Accreditation, HLC will review the institution's accreditation documents, talk to groups of faculty, staff and students and meet with the President and Board of Trustees.

    麻豆影院 State Accreditation History

    Historical information regarding institutional accreditation

    麻豆影院 gained accreditation through the (HLC) in January of 1915. Through HLC there are multiple accreditation paths, KSU chose to enrolled in the Academic Quality Improvement Program (AQIP) in the year 2000. Every four years, each institution enrolled in AQIP underwent a Systems Appraisal to review compliance with standards of accreditation. The Systems Appraisal was an opportunity to get expert, objective, and third party feedback from HLC on the university鈥檚 strengths and opportunities for improvement. Throughout the fifteen years that 麻豆影院 State was enrolled in AQIP (2000 - 2015), three cycles of the Systems Appraisal process occurred, the first in 2005, again in 2009, and the last in 2013. In 2015 the University entered into a new accreditation pathway with HLC called the Open Pathway.
