Universidad Regiomontana, Mexico - ISEP
(U-ERRE) is located in Monterrey city, the capital of the Nuevo Leon state in northern Mexico. Monterrey is an important industrial, commercial and educational center, and enjoys some of Mexico’s highest standards of living. Overall it is an innovative, modern city, though the historic Barrio Antiguo retains some traditional charm and is filled with cafes, restaurants, nightlife spots, cultural events and museums – this neighborhood is also a popular hangout for Monterrey’s many students in the evenings and on weekends. The city boasts a warm, dry climate and lies in a valley surrounded by stunning mountain ranges. U-ERRE’s campus is located in the heart of Monterrey, with access to all of the city's amenities and attractions.
ISEP students immerse themselves in Mexican culture and daily life by taking university classes with local students and living with a host family in the community. U-ERRE offers a variety of subjects taught entirely in Spanish including business, engineering, architecture, communications, education and social sciences. U-ERRE also offers business and Mexican culture courses taught in English. Students immerse themselves in local culture by visiting museums, markets and other places of interest with the included Spanish class. The university has an active student body, and ISEP students can participate in sports teams, cultural activities and student groups. Internships and volunteer opportunities are also available to ISEP students, and excursions are planned throughout the semester. ISEP students can be matched with a local U-ERRE “buddy” to help them navigate life in Monterrey and on campus!
