Nathaniel Mackie is a Digital Sciences alumni who graduated in the spring semester of 2016. He states that, "My degree in Digital Sciences has helped me tremendously from finding an internship, to locking in my first job immediately after graduation. A degree in Digital Sciences prepared me to have an understanding of many different careers in the IT world.” Nathaniel attributes many of experiences that prepared are shaped by those teaching within the organization. He states that, “with many classes being taught by professionals in the field, the work we do in the classroom prepares students to contribute day one at a high level to whichever organization they decide to join.” While interviewing for positions, Nathaniel even received praise for how well he was prepared. He mentioned that, “the directors I met with were more than impressed with the concepts we were learning on a daily basis that allows us to jump in directly and add value to the company."
