Angela Spalsbury, Ph.D., of Chesterland, Ohio, has been selected as the new dean and chief administrative officer of 鶹ӰԺ at Geauga in Burton and 鶹ӰԺ State’s Regional Academic Center in Twinsburg. A 鶹ӰԺ State alumna, Dr. Spalsbury currently serves as professor and chair of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Youngstown State University. She will join 鶹ӰԺ State on Jan.
The Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Finals are Friday, Oct. 27, from noon-2 p.m. in the 鶹ӰԺ Student Center Kiva. The 3MT gives 鶹ӰԺ graduate students just three minutes and one PowerPoint slide as tools to explain their research in a clear, engaging and concise manner.
