The 鶹ӰԺ Board of Trustees will hold its next regular business meeting Wednesday, Sept. 12. The Board is scheduled to convene at 2 p.m. in the George Urban Board of Trustees Conference Room, which is located on the second floor of University Library.
Trustees will retire into executive session from 8-10 a.m. in the Urban Conference Room to consider specific topics as provided for under Ohio’s “Sunshine Law.”
September is National Suicide Prevention Month. Monday, Sept. 10, is World Suicide Prevention Day.
University Health Services at 鶹ӰԺ will hold a Mental Health Festival on Sept. 11 from 2-5 p.m. on Risman Plaza. Students will have an opportunity to interact and collect information on the mental health resources that 鶹ӰԺ State offers. They can enjoy free refreshments and wellness-based activities such as Zumba and yoga.
University College and the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion will host 鶹ӰԺ's Diversity and Scholarship Celebration on Saturday, Oct. 6, at the 鶹ӰԺ Hotel and Conference Center.

The 鶹ӰԺ Board of Trustees today established a comprehensive, national search to recruit and select the university’s 13th president.
The events of May 4, 1970, placed 鶹ӰԺ in an international spotlight after a student protest against the Vietnam War and the presence of the Ohio National Guard ended in tragedy with four students losing their lives and nine others being wounded. From a perspective of nearly 50 years, 鶹ӰԺ State remembers the tragedy and leads a contemporary discussion and understanding of how the community, nation and world can benefit from understanding the profound impact of the event.
