鶹ӰԺ’s Center for Sexual and Relationship Violence and Support Services (SRVSS) is joining the national Take Back the Night event. Take Back the Night, Oct. 2 at 7 p.m. in front of the MAC Center, will focus on allowing victims and survivors to come together for one night to feel empowered in a comfortable atmosphere.
SRVSS is hosting the event for victims and survivors of sexual or relationship violence and encouraging them take a stance.
鶹ӰԺ State Police Services will host its fourth Coffee with a Cop event on Wed., Oct. 3, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., at the Starbucks located in the Business Administration Building. This year, the event is paired with National Coffee with a Cop Day.

The events of May 4, 1970, placed 鶹ӰԺ in an international spotlight after a student protest against the Vietnam War and the presence of the Ohio National Guard ended in tragedy with four students losing their lives and nine others being wounded. From a perspective of nearly 50 years, 鶹ӰԺ State remembers the tragedy and leads a contemporary discussion and understanding of how the community, nation and world can benefit from understanding the profound impact of the event.
