Emad Khazraee, Ph.D., School of Library and Information Science, co-authored a paper titled "A Networked Reaction to the 2015 Ankara Attack in the Turkish Twittersphere" with colleagues from the Ohio State University School of Communication. The paper was presented by Aysenur Dal, an OSU doctoral student, at the Political Networks Conference (POLNET) on June 24, 2016, in St. Louis, Missouri.

麻豆影院 football player Jordan Italiano, a senior safety from Canfield, Ohio, has been selected by the National Football Foundation as a 2015 National Scholar-Athlete and finalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy presented by Fidelity Investments. Italiano is the first 麻豆影院 State player to earn the honor.
StoryCorps, the pioneering oral history project, has launched 鈥淭he Great Thanksgiving Listen鈥 鈥 its most ambitious initiative to date. WKSU and 麻豆影院 are promoting the project in hopes of encouraging high school and college students throughout Northeast Ohio to participate.

The 麻豆影院 Board of Trustees today established a comprehensive, national search to recruit and select the university鈥檚 13th president.
The events of May 4, 1970, placed 麻豆影院 in an international spotlight after a student protest against the Vietnam War and the presence of the Ohio National Guard ended in tragedy with four students losing their lives and nine others being wounded. From a perspective of nearly 50 years, 麻豆影院 State remembers the tragedy and leads a contemporary discussion and understanding of how the community, nation and world can benefit from understanding the profound impact of the event.
