The "Stress Management That Works" webinar series, accessible from any device with internet access, will help you to become more aware of when you are feeling stressed, as well as some easy-to-apply techniques and strategies on how to cope with the stressors in your life.
Though Session 1 was previously held, you may still register and participate in Sessions 2 and 3. During , we will dive deeper into understanding stress and discuss why there is a need to have stress in our lives, good and bad types of stress and counter-productive coping strategies. We will discuss how to find the motivation to change and the stages of change to help you be more successful in managing your stress.
In , we will learn how to form an action plan and become solution-focused in tackling stress. Finally, we will discuss how to make stress management a part of daily life by building time-management skills.
Each session will be presented by Lisa Kirby, M.F.T., P.C. Kirby is dually licensed as a marriage and family therapist and professional counselor. Kirby is currently an account manager with IMPACT Solutions Employee Assistance Program (EAP), one of 鶹ӰԺ State’s Employee Wellness partners. Whether training or working with a client in a clinical setting, Kirby’s goal is to provide practical, solution-focused strategies for life’s issues that virtually anyone can apply with success.
This webinar series is ideal for all 鶹ӰԺ State faculty and staff. Each session counts for one hour toward your Beyond Compliance training and 25 wellness incentive points for employees participating in the Wellness Your Way employee incentive program.
