The ASL/English Interpreting Program prepares students to work with children and adults who are Deaf or have a hearing loss. The interpreting courses and instructors prepare students to interpret in community and educational settings.

The Career and Community Studies is a non-degree program that provides students with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in a variety of career paths, from social work to community development. With a focus on hands-on learning and real-world experience, students gain practical skills that can be applied in daily life and career.

Learning Sciences and Educational Psychology provides advanced study for students interested in the application of psychological principles to learning and instruction. It encompasses a variety of different disciplines, including cognitive psychology, human development and learning theory.

Gain an understanding of human development and how it is impacted by family and society. With experienced faculty and the ability to work in diverse settings, graduates of this program are prepared to make a positive impact on individuals, families and communities.

Long-Term Care Administration provides students the education and qualifications and eligibility for state and national licensure eligibility to work as administrators in long-term care settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, retirement communities, congregate living, adult care centers, hospice care and other long term services and supports.

The graduate program in School Psychology prepares professional school psychologists to work as leaders in applied practice in education and mental health settings. Both the Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) and doctoral (Ph.D.) programs offer extensive training and fieldwork aimed at producing highly trained practitioners who possess the knowledge, skills, and dispositions to enhance the academic and mental health competence of all children and youth.

The Special Education program is dedicated to preparing tomorrow’s teachers of exceptional learners and future leaders in the field. Offering both undergraduate and graduate programs, the program is fully accredited by the National Council of Accreditation of Teacher Education and has a national and state-wide reputation for excellence in professional preparation, research, and service to children and families.
